The deputies of the Riga Council on behalf of the Latvian Russian Union initiated a minute of silence in memory of all victims of the armed conflict which got unleashed between Palestine and Israel.
In their statement the LRU deputies emphacize that ”Our party has always been on the side of peace. In this particular conflict we also call on the immediate ceasefire and the resolution of the conflict in the Middle East through peace negotiations between the sides.
We are certain that people should suffer due to politicians who are not able to reach an agreement.
We are expressing condolences to all victims of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and their relatives.
